the piano project.

The Piano Project was a university second year module as part of a set live brief. This brief was to design and create a piece inspired by Grand Pianos that we deconstructed and recycled, imagined for a space within The Albert Hall in Swansea. My end design was a hanging glass chandelier made up from glass piano keys hanging from a golden frame made from the recycled wooden piano keys. This piece is a blend of music, glasswork and its interaction with natural lighting.
